St Patty's Day Show-Flat Division
Sunday, March 16th
This all rider levels show is a great opportunity to practice the skills you have been learning in your lessons, meet other riders, and take home a ribbon!
This show is perfect for all ages and experience levels, with several different divisions to choose from.
For riders aged 2-6, we offer two lead line classes. These two classes are a great time to practice their balance and position in walk and trot with their favorite ponies!
Green Rider classes are walk trot only. If you are not cantering in your lessons sign up for the green classes.
All other divisions are walk trot canter.
For riders who are 7 years and up, each show includes four different classes which are judged on various criteria:
English Pleasure: this class is judged solely on your horse, and how fun they look to ride! This is a great warm-up class before the later divisions which are judged on the rider as well.
English Equitation: this class is judged solely on the rider, such as their position, seat, and technique.
Best Suited for Dressage: this class judges both the horse and rider as a team, in a combination of the previous two classes.
Hunt Seat Equitation: this class is judged solely on the rider, like the equitation class. This is a great opportunity to practice your two-point (jumping) position while in a walk, trot, and transitioning between the two gaits.
Our shows are a fun, welcoming event just for our students here at A&T, in a relaxed, low pressure environment.
Cut off for sign up is March 11th, late registration fees are $10. Show times and horse will be sent out Feb 4th
